"Really helpful experience using this travel clinic for our honeymoon vaccines. Bernard was very helpful and knowledgeable, advising us on what was essential and not required. From the initial phone consultation to our two appointments, the communication and pricing were clear, with some unexpected savings on the vaccines passed on to us. We would recommend this travel clinic to anyone. Operating out of the Bitterne Surgery gave us peace of mind too."

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about travel vaccines, antimalarials, and travel medicines. Can't find your answer? Contact our clinical team.
It depends on your destination. Some countries require proof of vaccination (e.g. Yellow Fever), while others strongly recommend certain vaccines based on disease risk. Complete our travel health assessment to get destination-specific advice from a clinician.
Start by completing our free online travel health assessment at jetsethealth.co.uk/assessment. Based on your destinations and itinerary, one of our clinicians will review your responses and discuss personalised vaccine and medication recommendations with you. You'll then book in to have your vaccines administered face to face at our clinic.
Most vaccines are a single dose and provide immunity within 7–14 days, so even a few weeks' notice is often enough. Some vaccines do require multiple doses spaced weeks apart — for example Rabies pre-exposure requires 2 doses at least 7 days apart, and Hepatitis B requires 3 doses over at least 21 days (possibly longer). That said, it's always better late than never — partial courses still offer meaningful protection, and immunity continues to build even while you're travelling. Contact us whatever your timeframe and we'll do our best.
Four travel vaccines are available on the NHS for eligible destinations: Hepatitis A, Tetanus, Typhoid, and Cholera. All others — including Yellow Fever, Japanese Encephalitis, and Rabies — are private only. If your GP can't fit you in and you need more rapid vaccination, we can support you and get you seen quickly.
Yes. We are a registered Yellow Fever vaccination centre and can issue the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) required for entry to certain countries.
We offer Acetazolamide for altitude sickness prevention, which is recommended if you're travelling to high-altitude destinations. For jet lag, we offer Melatonin to help reset your body clock and improve sleep on long-haul journeys. Both are available following a short online assessment.
Jetset Health is CQC registered and sources all medication exclusively through authentic UK medicine wholesalers, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of safety and authenticity.
